Hospice Touch Inc has established a Vietnamese Team of Vietnamese-speaking physicians, nurses, social workers, chaplains, and volunteers to meet the needs of the Vietnamese population in Orange County. Our team is dedicated to providing the best quality of care and support to the Vietnamese community. This program was founded with the goal of bridging the gap in care that is often compromised due to cultural and language barriers. Having a team that can speak the language and understand the cultural differences can make a big impact on how patients and families will cope through this difficult time in their lives.
In addition to a Vietnamese speaking team, we also have a 24 hours, 7 days a week Vietnamese answering service available to patients and families. Patients and families can call in at any time to have questions and concerns addressed promptly in their native language to ensure clear communication.
Hospice Touch Inc also provides bereavement services for at least thirteen months to family members in Vietnamese. This includes, but is not limited to, telephone calls, bereavement mailings, and any necessary referrals to the community for further support.
